Tracy Anderson on Youtube

I wanted to share a few clips of Tracy Anderson on Youtube.  These are clips from her recent bootcamp she did in NYC.  The funny thing is that one of my gym instructors mentioned she did this bootcamp!  I have not taken her class in a while (remember: I was too busy at The Bar Method) but I will be sure to ask her when I go back to class.

Check these out:

  1. Hi! I am obsessed with Tracy Anderson’s method, as I’ve watched a few of her videos and I teach a LOT of similar stuff (high reps, lots of rotational movement to pull the muscles IN, etc), but she’s obviously got her thing down to an art. I’ve been a Pilates instructor for 6 years and got disenchanted with the time frame plus the cost it required to transform a persons body with Pilates alone, so I started playing around with my Pilates knowledge and expanding it from there. Tracy seems very upbeat and really motivating, and I would love to have her work me out!

Did you ask your instructor what her boot camp was like? I watched those two vids on YouTube and it looked intense/awesome. Thanks for letting me peek at your blog!

  2. Vanessa, thank you for visiting my blog and for commenting on my post. I have not seen that instructor in a long time. I’m not sure if she is still teaching at my gym. I have been rather obsessed with taking classes at The Bar Method (sort of similar to TA’s routine in various ways) so I have not been working out at the gym as much. I do recall her saying the boot camp was really intense- 3 hours a day. Yikes! TA is opening up a NYC studio within the next couple of months and if they offer one time classes, I will be sure to check it out.

Interesting about Pilates. Wasn’t Gwyenth really into Pilates at one point? TA also uses her own “special” Pilates reformer apparently. I do like to take Mat Pilates at the gym.

  3. Hey there! Someone in my Myspace group shared this site with us
so I came to take a look. I’m
definitely loving the information. I’m book-marking and will be tweeting this to my followers!
Terrific blog and terrific design and style.
