What Is Your Happy Weight?

I found this cool calculator on self.com.  Based on a few questions such as the typical height and age questions, it also asks you if you have had any children or recently quit smoking.  After you have answered all the questions, it comes up with a weight that is supposedly easy for you to maintain.

  1. I’m sure it varies from person to person. I found one of those online calculators and it said, based on being female and 5′ 2″, my ideal weight should be 110 pounds. The one on self.com says 120 pounds. Ideally, I’d be somewhere in the middle 🙂 Right now, I’m a few pounds less than what self.com recommends and I have to admit, I’m pretty happy. I don’t feel like I am denying myself anything 🙂

  2. I’ve been going a bit crazy on the doughnuts lately so I know why I’m having trouble maintaining my current weight. I always say I’ll be better and then here I go with another doughnut! I’d like to be about 120 or even consistently 125. Not to far off, but still elusive!

  3. Hey, if a donut (or two) makes you happy, then eat it 🙂 I say everything in moderation. You work out so hard and you need to enjoy life. Mmmm, now I’m craving a glazed donut.
